Claims
How to report a Wind/Hail Deductible Buy Back claim:
- Report the loss to the overlying (primary) carrier first and get the claim number.
- Gather the details: the buy-back policy number, the overlying claim number, the date of loss, and any photos or estimates.
- Send them to the buy-back claims team by email at claims@wrdfw.com, or call the claims number for the carrier on the policy.
- Keep copies of everything you send, including the overlying carrier’s settlement or payment letter.
